My wife and I dated @ this park regularly in the mid 70s. It was very quiet and serene then. We saw a lot of weddings so naturally when it was time for us to say our “I DOs”, in Nove. 20, 1978, we did it here. Had our pictures taken but the one that is very lasting and has stood the test of time is the one taken by the water fountain, with the water shooting up, during sunset . Love the place so much that when we vacationed in 2006 we just had to see it again and it has, in my opinion, stayed pretty much the same or with minor or little changes. God willing, on our 35th wedding anniversary, I would like to bring our family ( our kids and their future spouses) for our renewal of vows.
