Floral Design Event Styling

Lala Baldelovar is the daughter of an Interior Designer at the Royal Palace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a profession that heavily influenced her own inclination to the arts. She is the principal florist of Interplay, heading a team of equally-talented and creative designers who in their own rights have earned the respect of their peers and colleagues. Being highly artistic by nature, Lala would experiment on designing homes, and relatives and friends would commission her to decorate their houses for Christmas. She has also subcontracted handicrafts for exporters to the US and Canada. Her infatuation with floral design took root when she discovered the art in one of the many arts and crafts classes she took despite her schedule. The Mother Butler Guild of St. Michael’s Chapel Las Piñas has also sought her advice on decorations for special occasions, and the church benefits from her free services through her floral arrangements. Corporate clients E-Telecare and Kumon Philippines to name a few commissioned her for their special occasions. Experienced in production design and event styling, Lala displays a head for event coordination with her background in research, planning and development. She has pursued a Masters in Management in the University of the Philippines Manila and has also handled program preparations and manpower utilization for the 4th Asia-Pacific Conference on Problem-Based Learning in the Health Sciences.

Events Coordination

Beth Sanchez’ extensive background in research and planning has given her the tools to be a formidable head coordinator and managing partner of Interplay. Her work as Project Development Officer in the Institutional Research, Planning and Development Office of the PGH has strengthened her eye for detail and analysis. What further sets her above co-competitors in the field, however, is her strong musical background. Beth offers her services not only as coordinator but also as musical director and arranger. Hailing from a very musical family, which includes uncle Peewee Apostol, former KATHA Organization of Filipino Composers president and composer of the hit Minsan Pa by Zsa Zsa Padilla, Beth has been active with the piano and with musical plays since the age of two. Aside from being a KATHA member, she was also a member of the Archangels Chorale for almost twenty years, managing to secure roles as both instrumentalist and choirmaster. As a composer, Beth has written corporate songs for Automated Micro Electronics (now Amkor Technology Phils.) in 1993, and then Golden Horizon Branch of Sunlife Financial in 2002. She was also invited to join the Songwriting Contest of top pharmaceutical company Merck, Sharp and Dome in 1995, while two of her compositions were featured in KATHA’s Songwriters’ Night in September 2004. She has been musical director of events such as concerts and family celebrations, and even does vocal coaching for events’ performers. She also composes original songs for celebrants. Beth recognizes the fact that technology really do enhance performance quality such that she has recently upgraded her music workstation and sounds system to the latest models of popularly known brands, Korg (Triton) and Roland.

Music Services

Lorenz Arquero is the founder of Arquero Casa Musica, a company of musicians who aim to provide high-quality live musical entertainment. Its musical artists are affiliated with two of the premiere orchestral organizations in the Philippines—the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and the Manila Symphony Orchestra. Today, they are popularly known as the Serenata Strings. From the opuses of the great classical, master composers, to the well-loved melodies of contemporary musical artists, the company’s repertoire covers a variety of music that suits every occasion. The ensemble provides music for three hours during reception (inclusive of breaks) which can be divided into 2 or 3 performances.

Serenata Strings proudly features the father and son duo of Lorenz and LA Arquero.
