The name “Leggiero” which is actually an Italian musical term meaning “light touch”, was brought into existence by the untiring efforts of Jack and Merlie Abrajano-Yapchulay, husband and wife, both pianists.
Organized in 1993, Leggiero Strings is a group of young professional musicians genuine love for fine music performance.
The music ensemble specializes in church weddings and receptions. They also play in debuts, parties, corporate functions and other special occasions. The group ofers a vast musical repertoire which includes standard music, love songs, braodway, classics, Filipino music and current hits.
Clients may choose from a variety string ensemblw ranging from duo to a 15-piece ensemble or more, consisting of violins, flute, cello, bass, and piano.
Indeed, a performance of the Leggiero Strings will ass a touch of class and elegance in every occasion. It will transform the celebration into something truly memorable.
