Stradavarius String Ensemble

The STRADAVARIUS STRING ENSEMBLE was originally known as the ESTRADA STRING ENSEMBLE, whose members come from a family of musicians, and have played with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO).

The father, Mr. Gonzalo Estrada, former Concert Master of the PPO, and has recently played with the San Miguel Philharmonic Orchestra (SMPO) was the ensemble’s founding leader. He has relinquished this post and has handed over the leadership to his daughter, Ms. Malou Estrada-Castro.

Ms. Castro is an equally accomplished musician like her father, having won several music competitions. She has performed here and abroad, and with her vast musical experience with several orchestras, she offers you nothing but the best in music for your wedding, corporate functions, birthday, and other special events.

“I had no problems dealing with Stradavarius. We only met up with them thrice – twice before the wedding and on the wedding day itself. It was just hard to book an appointment with them as they almost always had an event. Luckily, we were able to meet last January 11 for a production meet. Jojo of Stradavarius was very easy to talk to and he even helped point out the items we needed to look out for.

We also decided to get their sound system for the Church ceremony. Since we got 92AD for our vocals, they required us to prepare 9 microphones and a reverb. San Sebastian could not provide that so we got Jojo as he was used to the setup at the Church.” Rich & Fritzie

“My heart was really set into walking down the aisle with “Feels Like Home” as music. It was our first stipulation whenever we were meeting with strings suppliers. Jojo promised that they would study the song, all he needs is an audio file which we sent. As I was walking towards my dad, I wasn’t really hearing anything and I had to stop for a few seconds to digest the music Strad was playing. Their rendition of the song was very beautiful, it widened my already wide smile

During the reception, JJ can’t help but sing them praises because they really played well. I can’t help but hum the tunes they were playing while we’re having our pics taken with the guests.
