Malou Castillejos is one of Philippine’s premier fashion designers. Her creations exude elegance and grace with very feminine details perfect for any bride. She specializes in fine embroidery and very delicate hand bead work.
Her presence in the bridal industry started in 1999 when she first showcased her talent for designing wedding gowns at the Rituals Bridal Show at Dusit Hotel in Makati in March of that year. Since then, brides from all over the country would come to see her at her atelier in Quezon City. Words came around about this young and talented designer and soon enough, international magazines featured her as one of the most promising designers of the Philippines. Her name gained recognition internationally when she got invited to showcase her gowns in many international bridal shops which opened great opportunities for her to serve brides all around the globe.
Malou Castillejos was chosen as the recipient of the “PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD” in 2008 Bridal Fair. The award is yet another testament to her professionalism and excellent craftsmanship. With her passion to design gowns and her wealth of practical knowledge behind her, she can be any bride’s Dream Designer.

Malou Castillejos’ team has no regard for customer service at all. They constantly get irritated when you suggest changes and refuse to see that their execution has a lot of flaws (The fit was horrible!) Overpriced for the quality you get.
I agree with Joy. Never had such a bad experience. I don’t recommend her.
Accompanied my friend to a fitting. The girls were standoffish and the gown was bad. Judging from the pictures from her website, they don’t really know how to make gowns that are flattering to the customer. One of them kept saying they were fully booked as if they were too busy to alter the gown to the client’s specifications. She seemed so irritated that we wanted changes to be made to the gown so it would fit better.
Her team was so rude to us as if we weren’t paying full price for the crappy gown that my friend won’t be even wearing since we found something better in Zara. Imagine that, a 10,000 peso dress trumps a 20,000+ hand made one. This attests to their lack of skill and detail-orientedness as a design team. What a waste of time.
We all hated the gown. Everyone who saw it couldn’t believe it was worth that much.
her team has horrible design sense, poor execution, and the worst customer service ever! overpriced! i’m not recommending her.
